JONAS plot
This show is based on the fictional Lucas Brothers. It contains the original songs made specifically for this show which are a major selling point of the show besides the brilliant comedy. This show starts with the three brothers leading normal teenage lives finding themselves in rather unusual situations. Kevin is faced with a difficult situation on the education front as he struggles to get admission into any college. Lucas finds himself entangled in an ego problem where he no longer wants to remain in the shadow of his brothers but wants to establish himself as a solo singer. Nick on the other hand is faced with trouble with relationships. Finally he manages to get into a relationship with Peyton, played by Katie Cunningham. However a twist appears to be in store for the viewers if Peyton gets in way of the band.
JONAS Characters
The main reasons behind the success of any television show are the characters. JONAS boasts of a good mixture of experienced and amateur actors. This show has become a major hit among children of 9-14 years of age forming the loyal fan base of this show. This may not be one of the best shows on the Disney channel but it is surely gaining rapid popularity. The Jonas brothers played by Joe Lucas, Kevin Lucas and Nick are the main protagonists of the show. They bring the show to life with their subtle comedy and good solid acting. The character of Chelsea Staub is played by Stella Malone who has the distinction of being the only character to appear in all 11 episodes of the show. A major criticism of this show remains the fact that a major percentage of actors are people with low exposure to professional television acting. For example, Kevin and Nick have been criticized sometimes for being uneasy in front of the camera.
Another feather in the cap of the show JONAS is the music of this show. Though there is a widespread opinion that Hannah Montana is not the best singer going around in the music industry, most critics would agree that the overall music of the show is quite melodious. The Jonas brothers on the other hand are good when it comes to their pop rock.
Jonas is still in its first season but it has already started generating massive viewer interest and will continue to do so in the forth coming seasons provide the cast continue with their impressive performances.
